An original British Railways wooden sign, indicating with an arrow the direction of the 'Southern Region District Engineer's Office'. From the ghost writing underneath, it would appear the 'District' was formally known as the 'Divisional' engineers office. 

Some historic areas or repair as seen to the sign body and right side, but still a very sturdy solid sign
