An old mule trunk with zinc base. 
Naively sign written ‘Capt CW Coole’ and addressed South Croydon in Surrey
The lid hinges using the leather which has now dried and cracked, but the fabric inside still holds the lid well
The inside is stamped Sept 1944, so it’s quite literally been through the wars
