1960’s Metal Sculpture Lamp

This highly unique sculpture was made during the 1960's by a Belgium artist.
His medium of choice was hot metal dripped into various brutalist figures or sculptures, some of which were then converted into lamps in order to illuminate them from behind, as with this example. It gives this already eye catching peice an other worldly appearance when lit.
It certainly makes a talking point and would be equally at home in a sitting or dining room, or as a feature in a business environment.

Now rewired and ready to use once more.
